Have you been struggling with your writing projects? Do you have lots of ideas, but no clue where to start? Are you unsure about your writing abilities? If so, then coaching is for you.
Every writing coach works differently, and I aim to fill a supportive, encouraging, guiding role. I become your unconditional writing mentor. My coaching services are a combination of phone calls, manuscript critiques, e-mails, and supplemental readings--essentially, I will do whatever I can to help you achieve your writing goals.
I've found that every writer--especially those working on creative projects like memoirs and novels--is different in their goals, work habits, and challenges. Some clients come to me with years of writing experience, and others have never written anything more than an e-mail. Therefore, I tailor my coaching approach to fit your specific needs, goals, and challenges.
The coaching relationship starts with an initial 45-minute phone consultation, where we'll talk about your project, your writing challenges, and your needs. You can send me material to prepare if you like, of just come to the call ready to talk through your challenges. Then we'll plan how to work on your project and make serious progress in 30 days!
During the month, I'll be available to you for e-mail support anytime you need it. And if you need help with a particular aspect of the writing craft, I'll find and supply you with resources and materials through the mail.
We'll talk one more time during the month for another 45 minutes, usually after you've submitted your manuscript pages to me for critique and analysis, to figure out next steps. So by the end of the month, you should be well on your way to success and all the uncertainties and obstacles that were holding you back will be a thing of the past--FINALLY!
